The University of Venice, Ca' Foscari, has launched a new initiative to attract MSCA postdoctoral fellows by offering them tenure-track positions. Indeed, thanks to the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research decree that foresees the possibility of tenure-track recruitment for excellent MSCA postdoctoral fellows, Ca' Foscari, has been the first Italian University to embark recently a highly talented researcher from MSCA fellowships: the anthropologist Valentina Bonifacio who will teach Visual Anthropology in the Department of Humanities. As stated by Michele Bugliesi, Rector for Ca’ Foscari University of Venice: "In 2015,Ca’ Foscari has already inaugurated new approaches for direct call recruitment directed towards the most noteworthy researchers on the International scope, and […] continues to invest in quality of research, in practices aimed towards attracting the greatest talents in Italy and around the world, and to support the researchers by offering infrastructure and maintaining support to facilitate their participation in networks and research funding internationally.” Learn more about Valentina's project and her new position at: http://bit.ly/2sRtQ0i Project ARCHFACT - Building an archive of conflicting memories: A history of Carlos Casado's tannin factory in Paraguay (1889-2001) http://cordis.europa.eu/project/rcn/186588_en.html
