Build Team for Week-Long Interdisciplinary Workshop in Oslo

On

You can build a team of up to 10 researchers between the age of 25 and 40, who will develop a novel idea together at the Centre for Advanced Studies Oslo in the second week of July 2017. The focus is on future frontline research across the fields of humanities, social science and natural science.

The central idea behind Young CAS is to facilitate and encourage daily intellectual contact and dialogue. The primary objective is to strengthen fundamental research by providing young researchers the opportunity to engage in academic study within an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research group. CAS offers a unique opportunity to gather a research group and use the facilities here at CAS in Oslo for one week. The research group may work on an already existing project, or explore a novel idea.

There are no lab facilities at CAS, and laboratory work, field work, and collection of data is not the purpose of this academic week

Accomodation and travel costs will be covered.
