Dear all, My name is Marîa and I currently working at Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (IPGP), in France. I decided to join this group after the ESOF-satellite event in Manchester two months ago. We would like to form a gender equality group in the institute, to enable the exchange of knowledge and experience, provide mutual support, organising discussion/round tables on different topics (leadership, gender bias, ...) and also organising open seminars by inviting guest speakers from other universities. As the best way to coordinate the activity of the group is through email, we asked for an official email (i.e. egalite@ipgp.fr), but they did not agree. Now, we are writing an "official" proposal asking for the email again, in which we would like to add any world institutes, universities professional associations that have stablish special chapters/groups/initiatives that address gender equality issues. And here is where I am asking for your HELP, please: - Do you know any insitutes/universities that have stablish gender equality groups? - Would any of you like to be a guest speaker for a seminar in the future?
