Dear colleagues,
The Marie Curie Alumni Association is organising the MCAA Poster Stand for Young Researchers at the ESOF 2016 conference, and invites you to showcase your work at this prestigious event.
This special session is being organised with the aim of making the work of young researchers known to the large and eminent audience that will attend the ESOF conference, and to provide researchers with the opportunity to interact with prominent scientists, innovators and representatives from the corporate sector.
The Call for abstracts is open to all young researchers, not only MCAA members. The Book of Abstracts with the ISBN will be published after the conference. Please, find more details at the link below:
https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/news/call-posters-esof-2016
We cordially invite you to send in your abstract, and to promote the Call through your networks and institutions.
The ESOF (Euroscience Open Forum) will be held in Manchester on 23-27 July 2016. It is the largest general science conference in Europe, which gathers together 4 500 participants – prominent scientists (including Nobel laureates), policy makers, journalists, the business sector, and young researchers. The ESOF offers a ‘reach’ programme, including Career, Science and Business sessions. More details can be found on the ESOF web-site: http://www.esof.eu/
We would like to take advantage of this opportunity to remind you that the MSCA ESOF satellite event starts immediately after the ESOF main event (on 28-29 July) and to invite you to join it. The registration for this MSCA event is free and open to all MSCA fellows (however, not open for the general public). https://msca-esof2016.teamwork.fr/en/home
We look forward to seeing you in Manchester at both these events!

Dear Olatz,
Thanks a lot for representing our Chapter in The ESOF 2016! I hope you are enjoying all the scientific and social activities and interacting with other MCAA fellows from other chapters! Please feel free to post some pictures of your experience! Me and all the other chapter members would be glad to see them!
All the bests,
Rita.
Dear Rita and BeNeLux members,
ESOF 2016 is going great! In the poster session around 40 posters from the MCAA have been presented every noon for current and past Marie Curie fellows from different disciplines, Universities, chapters, countries, etc. Moreover, oral session from MCAA, EC, among other organisations are running these days with topics interesting for any scientific, independently of their developmental stage and discipline: an earlier or senior one. The event is interesting and nice, open to all type of researchers and with stands from different scientific organisations, publications, etc. See more at: http://www.esof.eu/
I have acknowledged my participation to BeNeLux chapter. Best regards,
Olatz
