Employment in International Organizations and European Institutions

On

On Saturday January 28, 2017 for the twelfth time, the career fair "Employment in International Organizations and European Institutions" will be held in Berlin. The career fair is hosted by the German Foreign Office.

The event is aimed at students, graduates and professionals who are interested in international affairs. As diverse professional profiles are required by international organizations, the career fair is not only aimed at economists, political scientists and lawyers alone, but is also relevant to engineers, chemists, lawyers, computer scientists, social scientists, doctors, media professionals, geographers, management scientists, meteorologists, physicists and medical doctors.

More details (in German) can be found at: http://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/DE/AusbildungKarriere/IO/Personal/Karrieremesse/Uebersicht_node.html

Strangely enough for an event aimed at employment in "international" organizations, the website is only in German. The German Foreign Office clearly focusses on facilitating the employment of German nationals in these organisations through this event. Nevertheless I don't see anything explictly excluding anyone else who wants to register. Registration at a cost of 8€ for a full day and 5€ for a half day is open at: https://shop.ticketpay.de/5GKO5BLT

Employment by some European Organisations requires EU citizenship.

The event will be held at the German Foreign Office, Unterwasserstr. 10, Berlin-Mitte. A map explaining access can be found here.
