France Chapter kick-off meeting - slides

Dear All,

thank you for everyone participating at the France Chapter kickoff meeting the 21st October and thanks especially to our speakers! We hope that for those of you present it was a good opportunity to meet other fellows and also to get some useful information from the different talks on MCAA, gender equality, H2020 grants, Euraxess, ANR research grants in France, alternative careers outside the academia, EU Young Parliament or science communication. For this latter we were happy to host Philippe Xu and Quentin Vincent, two finalists of Famelab 2015. (You could check out their presentations at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkE4gmZM6ZA, starting from 1h:02). You could find below the slides of the presentations. We finished our meeting by discussing what could be the objectives of the France Chapter, which activities we could plan. Hopefully this event would be just the starting point!

Hi Petra, thank you for the slides. However, I could not find the ones that the lady from the EU showed concerning H2020...did she provide them? Thanks in advance for your answer :)

Hey Petra,

It looks like you had a fruitful and interesting meeting. Thanks for sharing the presentations. It helps a lot to better understand what the goals of the association are and it's great to learn what they are. Do you mind if I forward some of your presentations to other post-docs and PhD students from my Institute? As a rep for the non-permanent staff here, I'm locally promoting the MSCA and MCAA.
