We as a Chapter got 5 tickets for free for interested Members to attend the the virtual conference for free!!! Please reply asap (deadline today at 4.30pm)!!! We were also notified in a very short notice, sorry for that.

At MCAA, we value the power of networking and sharing bold ideas. This is why, after the sudden cancellation of our Annual Conference earlier this year, we decided to organize MCAA's first virtual conference. 

The conference will take place on November 6th and 7th completely online. This 2-days event is packed with amazing sessions on the theme of Research & Democracy. 

With opening remarks by EU Director-General for Education, Youth, Sport, Culture Mrs Themis Christophidou; a keynote lecture by Prof. Daniel Ziblatt, Harvard University political scientist and co-author of best-selling How Democracies Die; and sessions discussing cultural and social concerns, like AI, diversity, inclusivity, computational propaganda and more.

More good news: Micro-grants call is extended

The MCAA Executive Committee informs of its decision to extend the current Micro-Grants call following the extension of the contract with the European Commission that finances this program.

The new deadline for submitting Micro-Grant requests is Friday, 29th January 2021 and all the receipts to be reimbursed and support documents should be submitted until Friday, 5th of March 2021, the latest.
