Good news from NCN!

Hello MCAAers!  The National Science Centre of Poland (NCN) has just announced several changes to their funding policy. One of them is very relevant to our non-Polish-speking members: NCN has dropped the 5-page Polish language summary from their proposal template. Now NCN proposals will be English-only! More details are available here: https://www.ncn.gov.pl/aktualnosci/2018-01-19-ncn-ulatwia-realizacje-grantow (Polish only), here's a link to a Google Translate version

Wishing you successful funding applications

Michal

This one improvement to the rules you mention is just a matter of a convenience. There are more important improvements.
- Finally one will be able to negotate officialy the project start date;

- There will be posibility to move the grant to another institution before signing the grant agreement;

- The list of equipement to be pruchased will not be expected to be implemented letter by letter. There will be more flexibility with this without the need of signing an official agreement appendix.

Most of the new changes are very nice and this all goes (imho)  into right direction.
