Good idea, Michael! I have been in Germany since July 2013 and will remain here until September 2015. That's not 13 months remaining but more than 13 months in total. I'd be interested in joining if it is possible.

MCAA members declaring current residence in Germany = 233

... so you should (in theory) have not too much difficulty to find five 'founder members' for a German chapter. (Remember that not all members have yet bothered to provide this information in their personal profile.)

The map-based search (https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/users-mapped) can show you where most members are clustered in Germany - mainly where you might expect!
