Help needed - central database of contacts with various Ukrainian universities, research institutes and scholarly associations
Dear all,
As some of you might know, I am one of main coordinators of Science For Ukraine platform (https://scienceforukraine.eu).
#ScienceForUkraine is a community group of volunteer students and research scientists from academic institutions in Europe and around the world. Our mission is to collect and disseminate information about support opportunities at the university, national, and international level for graduate students and researchers directly affiliated to an academic institution in Ukraine.
In short, we are collecting information about and lobbying for these opportunities for Ukrainian scientists and students
- Fellowship/scholarship (remote and on location)
- Dedicated funding opportunities (for scientists that stayed in Ukraine or that are abroad)
- Research visit
- Part time/full time employment (remote and on location)
- Accommodation in a dormitory or institution guest quarters
- Support for accompanying family members
- Office space
- Computer with internet access
- Access to library and/or lab facilities
- Mentorship
Why I am contacting you?
We are trying to maximize our reach within Ukraine, so we can share information about possible support opportunities with as many people as possible. That is why, we would appreciate if you will be able to help us get in touch with as many Ukrainian Universities or research institute as possible. If you have an active contact with someone who holds a decision-making position at a Ukrainian university (or someone who can help us get in touch with their communications/international offices), please comment here or contact info@scienceforukraine.eu .
