International Summer School on Technology Transfer in Life Sciences: 5th-9th September 2016 in Dresden

The Technical University of Dresden organizes several International Summer Schools every year as part of its Excellence Initiative. They are inviting applications to take part in their International Summer School on Technology Transfer in Life Sciences that takes place between 5th-9th September 2016.

The focus of the event is to encourage researchers to investigate opportunities to transfer their research results towards the economic market. The target audience consists of research group leaders, postdocs and those who have almost finished their PhD. Accommodation, travel and workshop costs are covered for all selected participants. The deadline for applications is 30th June.

The program of the event includes:

  • Protection of Intellectual Property (IP)
  • Licensing
  • How to start up: Entrepreneurship in Life Sciences
  • Venture capital as a source of money
  • Presentation of workshop results - Pitching
