Invitation letter to join the Slovenia Regional Group

On

The initiative group of former and current researchers, who have been or are still being funded by the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) schemes under the European Research Framework Programs has started a process to establish an MSCA Alumni Club in Slovenia under the auspices of the Marie Curie Alumni Association. The purpose is to promote local networking among members, recruitment of new members and participation in European and national MCAA activities.

Bringing together former and current MSCA researchers in Slovenia is very important for maintaining and developing an international culture of knowledge and for mutual exchange of experiences, views and knowledge, as well as for mutual cooperation and support of new candidates in applying for MSCA calls within Horizon Europe and also beyond.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport supports the establishment of MSCA Alumni Club in Slovenia and would like to cooperate with all former and current MSCA researchers in various activities related to the promotion and role of MSCA principles in the national scientific research and innovation system.

We cordially invite all current and former MSCA researchers associated with Slovenia to join the group and actively participate in the design and implementation of the MSCA Alumni Club program in Slovenia.

Following your membership, we will organize a meeting to discuss further cooperation, goals and tasks of the GIG. One of the first tasks will certainly be to participate in the next MSCA conference planned by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport during the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU in November 2021.
