Kick-off meeting discussion

Dear colleagues and MSC fellows,

I warmly welcome you all to the Slovenia Regional Group, which was created with the purpose to promote networking among members and participation in European and national MCAA activities.

We are planning to have a kick-off meeting in April 2021, when we will discuss several topics, including the possibilities of opening a MCAA Chapter in Slovenia, collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and other issues that are of our interest.

Since we will have the possibility to discuss our necessities or issues that have arose during our fellowship, I suggest opening a discussion about what is your experience as an MSC fellow and what would be your needs for the future career development. Since I come from Slovenia and I am currently a fellow in Italy, my biggest concern or question would be of how am I going to be reintegrated in my institution of origin in Slovenia. Perhaps some of you have good experiences from countries you are coming from (or going to) if they have any scheme for reintegration of MSC fellows (I know some do).

Thus, I kindly invite you to share your experiences and perhaps give some suggestions on what should be discussed at the first meeting.
