Re-opening of the MCAA Micro-Grants call

On

Dear MCAA Member, We are happy to announce that the MCAA Call for Micro-Grants (which was temporarily closed late last year) was re-opened this morning – see https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/micro-grants. We take this opportunity to remind members that the opportunity to take part in the study on Displaced Academics and Students in Higher Education has a deadline for the end of March. This study is being led by researchers at the University of Manchester in cooperation with MCAA. The link to the survey is here: https://apps.mhs.manchester.ac.uk/surveys//TakeSurvey.aspx?SurveyID=ll31l65M Please complete this survey, if you have not already done so, and feel free to disseminate the survey through your networks. We expect that the survey will take only 15-30 minutes to complete. By responding to this survey, you will help the researchers collect data to understand, and support, academics and students who have experienced forced displacement. There is a humanitarian angle to this project, which encourages respondents to contribute their knowledge about best practices. The results of this study will be presented at several events to contribute to the discussion and development of relevant policies. These include the European Science Open Forum (2018) in Toulouse, France, and the Marie Curie Alumni Association General Assembly and Annual Conference (Vienna, March 2019). Best regards, The MCAA Team
