[Reminder] Call for Pitches - Special Issue of the MCAA Newsletter (ISSN 2663-9483)  “Open Science in its many forms”

Dear GEDI Members,

May we remind you of the  Special Issue of the MCAA Newsletter (ISSN 2663-9483)  “Open Science in its many forms” guest-edited by Brian Cahill, Mayya Sundukova, Pradeep Eranti.

MCAA members are invited to share their compelling stories about open science practices. The hope is to gather evocative and relatable examples to show researchers, educators, innovators, funders, and policymakers how adopting open science can benefit their work and increase impact.

As shared by one of the Guest Editors, Mayya Sundukova, "One of the focuses is that Open Science is not only about Open Access, but also about fostering a more equitable and inclusive research culture. There is quite a gap regarding the intersection of Gender and Open science, as well as broader contextualisation of Open Science practices and policies - how they "land" and are being uptaken in different fields of research, countries, cultures and communities of practice."

Please consider contributing. The full description of the call is on the MCAA website https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/call-december-2024

The deadline for the pitch (150 words) is October 15, full article (750 words) expected by November 5.
