Hi! Yes, I am attending!

I am a chemist, working in the interface between chemistry and biology. My research goal is to translate our fundamental knowledge medicine, therefore my research is moving to translational medicine. In concrete, I am working in the understanding of gluten-related disorders from a molecular point of view.

Currently, we have a new hypothesis that connects gluten fragments with amyloids oligomers that activate the innate immune system. They are nicely represented in this cartoon, sponsored by Vikki and MCAA:)

 

This finding opens a new paradigm in gluten-related disorders. Looking forward to meeting you to discuss how to move forward to disclose the role of gluten in human amyloidosis. For scientific information please visit my website
