Sad news from the Danish Chapter

Dear Member,

We received very sad news last week. Our former Chair and founder of the Danish Chapter María Mondéjar passed away on Sunday 14. February. We are all very sad and still digesting the sad news. María was a fighter, a successful researcher and passionate about science and life. She achieved a lot during her career as a scientist and we at the Danish Chapter owe all what we achieved to her, being a Chapter with more than 160 members since it was founded back in 2017. We are committed to continue maintaining our Chapter alive, now more than ever.

For those of you who had the luck of meeting her, Maria's family organized a funeral tomorrow (Friday 26th of Feb) between 10:30 - 12:00 ( GMT+1). Due to gathering restriction, there will be a moment of silence for her. The family arranged a memorial video and possibility to leave tribute in link below:

I take the opportunity with this message to announce a coming newsletter dedicated to María. For those of you who knew her, please write here a message if you would like to write few words in her memory. We will also announce the date of the Chapter Winter Meeting soon, dedicated to her.
