Welcome! It's great to have another medievalist on board! I am Charlotte Steenbrugge. I finished my MC fellowship in October in order to start another post as Vice-Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Sheffield. My Marie Curie was at Bristol and Toronto, working on the connections between sermons and drama in late medieval England. (I really enjoyed the website, by the way.)

Hi Charlotte, so nice to meet you!

Before the MC I was in Toronto for a year as PIMS Mellon Fellow. Great place to be, Canada, for medievalists, isn't it? Congrats on you Vice-Chancellor's; have never been in Sheffield (yet). How was your experience as MC fellow? any tips? It seems pretty life-changing!

(thanks, I also liked yours)

A.

My only tip would be to enjoy it to the full! It's such an amazing experience to get time dedicated to research, a generous research fund, and - for me at least - the opportunity to live in another country. And yes, Toronto was a great place to be! We shall have to get you up to Sheffield at some point! Any chance of meeting in Leeds?

I would gladly join you in Sheffield! Yes, I will be in Leeds this year. Meet you there?
