hello everyone, does anyone have infos about the unemployment benefit request after the end of a MSCA contract? how to, conditions to apply and obtain it (e.g. residence in France required?), etc.

Hello Lorenza,
if you want to stay in France you should ask for unemployment benefit in Pole Emploi registering in its website. You will have to provide information of your background, and ask for a RDV so that they can check whether you are autonomous to look for a job (normally yes, because they don't have maybe so much possibility to help you find a research post, for instance).
If you want to go to another EU country, you will have to ask for document U1 in Pole emploi. In that way your working period can be computed and considered in these countries.
You can also stay in France for some time, and then ask for a permission of three months to go to another EU country to look for a job while continuing with French unemployment benefit. You would need the document U2 in Pole emploi, register in the service of unemployment where you go, and communicate Pole Emploi that you are registerd there.
