Call for articles 2026

The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) is opening a continuous call for article submissions throughout 2026. We invite our members to share their experiences, research activities, and professional insights with our international community. Articles that pass the Editorial Board’s review will be published in either the MCAA Newsletter or the MCAA Blog.

​The MCAA Newsletter and the MCAA Blog serve as essential communication channels for the Association. They feature articles highlighting MCAA activities, Chapter and Working Group (WG) initiatives, as well as updates on past and current Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) projects involving MCAA members.

The MCAA Newsletter and the MCAA Blog in 2026

In 2026, the MCAA Newsletter will be reformatted to provide more timely updates. It will transition from a quarterly online publication to a bimonthly email distribution, ensuring our community remains informed about the latest developments and stories from our network every two months. Each edition will feature a selection of three articles.

​The MCAA Blog remains a vital platform for members to share their perspectives and experiences. The Blog offers flexibility for the continuous publication of member-submitted content on a monthly basis. 
​
​All articles published on both the Newsletter and the Blog will be promoted through the MCAA social media channels, maximising reach and readership.

Submission process and guidelines

We welcome submissions from MCAA members on a rolling basis throughout 2026. Potential topics include members’ MSCA research projects, planned or completed activities organised by Chapters or WGs, or insightful commentary on issues relevant to the research and academic sector.

Submission process:

  1. Review our editorial guidelines before submitting your text.
  2. Submit your article using the form provided below.
  3. The MCAA Editorial Board will select and review the articles, determining whether they are best suited for publication in the MCAA Newsletter or the MCAA Blog.

Note: While this is a rolling call, the submission deadline for inclusion in the first newsletter edition of the year is 14 January 2026.
