The Norway Chapter is part of the MCAA, and encourages local networking, attracts and recruits new members to the Association, and generally enhances the image of the MCAA within Norway.

Norway is a dynamic and vibrant research environment which hosts MCAA members of various nationalities. The Norway Chapter aims to increase collaboration and networking between MCAA members in Norway, and with the global MCAA Community.

Data Analysis and Visualization in R
Data Carpentry develops and teaches workshops on the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. Its target audience is researchers who have little to no prior computational experience, and its lessons are domain-specific, building on learner\s existing knowledge to enable them to quickly apply skills learned to their own research. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
