For annual meeting of the Bulgaria Chapter of MCAA

 

The annual meeting of Bulgaria Chapter of the Marie Curie Alumni Association will take place on October 19th 2018,

in the Main Conference Hall of the Faculty of chemistry and pharmacy – Sofia University, “James Bourchier” blvd. -1, Sofia-1164

14:00 – Welcomes and Opening

Acad. Prof. Peter Kralchevsky - Dean of the Faculty of chemistry and pharmacy of Sofia University

Mrs Karina Angelieva – Deputy Minister of Education and Science

Mr Dimitar Asenov – chief expert at the “Transnational research initiatives” department of the “Science” Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science

14:30 - 15:30 Working program and Vision of MCAA-BG_Chapter

  • 14:45 - 14:55 – short individual introduction of new members of the BG-Chapter
  • 14:55 - 15:30 – Discussion on the implementation of the planned activities and creation of an action-plan - topics to be discussed:
  1. Communication channels, logo & newsletter
  2. Next midterm meeting; informal meetings & possibility to organize a conference funded by external sources
  3. Constitute a Chapter Board

After-meeting social event will take place in a nearby restaurant, which is cost-free for registered members of BG-Chapter of MCAA. There is a possibility to reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the MCAA members not resident in Sofia.

All members of BG-Chapter of MCAA that are currently abroad are welcome to take part in the meeting through on-line communication platforms.
