MOBILE RESEARCHERS AND THE CHALLENGE OF THE NETWORK: HOW TO MAINTAIN PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIONS OVER TIME AND SPACE?

In a fast-paced world, extreme mobility is a norm in researchers' lives. Mobility is deemed beneficial for career development because it widens the professional networks; yet, it also makes them shallow. The main challenge researchers face is thus not so much how to build a wide range of connections, but how to nurture them.

Our webinar will explore the range of possibilities open to researchers who move back and forth across the Atlantic.
