Intense negotiations on EU budget for H2020 have concluded with a deal

After months of discussions an informal agreement was reached yesterday on the EU’s next seven year funding programme for science and research. The so-called Horizon 2020 package will have a budget of €70.2bn for projects over the next seven years.
