Are laptops allowable?

Can anyone advise as to whether MC Global Fellows are allowed to purchase a laptop from the monthly mobility allowance e.g. if the researcher is travelling to different areas or states for field work and needs to take one for data collection or training activities. Many thanks. Loraine
