Important notice: Planned website migration
Between 31 October and the first few days of November, the MCAA website will be in read-only mode as we migrate to our new website. During this time, you can view existing content, but no submissions, edits, or uploads are possible. This includes forms, profile updates, and news items. Thank you for your patience as we work to launch our new, improved site.

Call for Personal Stories / Mobile researchers

On

Message on behalf of Nabil Ali - UKRI <Nabil.Ali@ukro.ac.uk>

If you are interested please do not respond to this email,

but get in touch with: <Nabil.Ali@ukro.ac.uk>

EURAXESS UK are looking at increasing the number of personal stories on the site to help raise the profile of the benefits of being a mobile researcher and coming to the UK. At the moment they are written testimonials, but I believe they are also thinking of producing short videos.

Here are two examples of what they have already:

  1. Life as a Nigerian researcher in the UK - https://www.euraxess.org.uk/united-kingdom/news/life-nigerian-researcher-uk
  2. From Computer Mice to Kalahari Meerkats - https://www.euraxess.org.uk/united-kingdom/news/computer-mice-kalahari-meerkats

If they are interested in participating, if they can let us know we can put them in touch with the British Council who look after the EURAXESS UK portal – might be something worth flagging with your chapter.

Many thanks,

Nabil
