Hi everybody!
A spanish friend of mine, microbiologist, is having the following problem:
His girlfriend received a Marie Curie scholarship in Amsterdam, and he moved with her. He's currently looking for a researcher's position and he is now a strong candidate for a Marie Curie in another dutch university.
The problem is he has been registered for around 9 months as a resident in The Netherlands. Does this make him uneligible? He had not worked in The Netherlands so far. Does this makes any difference?
Thank you in advance.

In the absence of a readily available host officer, can also read the general information on the website (http://ec.europa.eu/research/mariecurieactions/about-msca/actions/if/index_en.htm) and the specific informaiton in the Guide for Applicants for the relevant call (which seems to have become harder to find through the website, but can be Googled). The latter contains the elgibility rules and examples of their applications.
Cheers, Daniel
Hi there,
His eligibility will depend on the specific MSCA program that he is applying, the deadline of that program and the particularities of the host institution. My advice is for your friend to arrange a meeting with the officer at his host institution that handles the MArie Curie / EU grants. They are the best people to advice him on eligibility issues.
Good luck
