HRI 2023: "Social Robots Personalisation: at the crossroads between Engineering and Humanities" - CONCATENATE - Workshop

We would like to invite you to participate and contribute to our workshop on “Social Robots Personalisation: at the crossroads between Engineering and Humanities (CONCATENATE)”, which will take place at HRI 2023 in Stockholm on March 13 2023. The format of the workshop will be hybrid. More details about the workshop can be found on our website:

Topics of Interest to the workshop include:
- Theories and methods of personalisation;
- Physical, cognitive and social adaptation;
- Modelling and parameterising interactions;
- Metrics for evaluating personalised HRI;
- Transparency and XAI in HRI;
- Acceptance and Trust in personalised HRI;
- Socio-cultural aspects of personalised HRI;
- Robot law and ethics on personalisation;
- Inclusion and diversity in personalised HRI;
- User psychology in personalised HRI;
Submission Instructions:
We invite authors to submit a 2-page abstract or full papers (up to 6 pages, including references) on original and unpublished research on the field of social robots’ personalisation, addressing technical, ethical and/or socio-cultural aspects of personalised HRI. Papers will be reviewed for their theoretical or technical contribution and relevance.
All manuscripts must be written in English, not anonymised, and submitted electronically in PDF on EasyChair https://easychair.
The accepted papers can be published on the workshop website, in arXiv and on the website of the European Training Network PERSEO, as it supports this workshop. Furthermore, we are also aiming to organise a follow-up, special issue in a journal such as the International Journal of Social Robotics, where accepted authors will be invited to send extended versions of their papers.
