Inquiries about MArie Curie ITN

1 min read Dec 06, 2019

Hello Guys,

I have two questions hopefully, any of you could help me in it.
1. Does the Marie Curie project pay for the visa and flight from my home country to the uni?

2. Does the project pay for the mobility allowance every month even if i am not travelling?

I am an Early stage researcher on ITN-Marie curie Grant

I would appreachiate your help with official links.

Best Regards

1- As far as I know, your host institution should cover visa-related costs during the project. That usually includes the relocation travel costs to the host coutry, but it is not very clear. Keep the receipts in any case.

2- Yes, the mobility allowance is supposed to cover the costs associated with the fact that you have moved to a different country, not directly project-related costs. Usually paid together with the living allowance. If you travel for secondments, institutional costs are used to cover travel expenses.
