Marie Curie Slam at London Meeting, 4 March 2017! Dear fellows, The Marie Curie Alumni Association UK chapter meeting is less than a month away. We are looking forward to hosting you in London on Saturday 4th March. Take a look at the meeting program on our webpage: https://mcaauklondon2017.wordpress.com The evening social event will take place at Marlborough Arms in Bloomsbury. A key highlight will be the Marie Curie Slam. We would like to invite you to present you research ideas to a friendly audience in the very casual setting of the pub. A few simple rules for the slam: - Contestants will get 3 minutes to convey their research ideas to an audience from varied disciplines - Only handheld props are allowed (remember, we don’t have a proper stage at the pub, just a raised platform) If you are interested, just drop an email to Ashish Malik: ashmalik@ceh.ac.uk Registration deadline: 15th February.
