The UK Chapter of the Marie Curie Alumni Association is planning a virtual **Festive PINT OF SCIENCE*, to take place on 17 December on 6.30 pm.

As regards the "Pint of Science", we are looking for 3 VOLUNTEERS among our members to speak about their work on the theme "Research Gifts". They could talk about principles borrowed from others in interdisciplinary work. Or, alternatively, if anyone had "Festive Fun" stories they'd like to present -- like the calculations for how much fuel it would actually take for Santa to carry billions of presents all in one night - that would be more than welcome, too!
