MSC IF extension

Dear all, I am a MC postdoc researcher (Individual Fellowship). I´ve been told that the IF can be extended for several months even after the max. of 2 years. I had an accident and I am on sick leave. I am afraid that I won´t have time enough to finish the project, but I don´t find any info about this extension. Does anybody know something about this extension?
