While applying for Visa I need COS certificate from host Institute My host institute is the company, they don't have authorized to issue cos. But where I registered my Ph.D. had the registered to issue the Cos to me. Now the question is the university has to give COS to me? Hi

I think you are talking about a CAS (confirmation of acceptance to study). The study part is with the university and most/ many universities hold "trusted sponsor" status for issuing study visas. My understanding is that's the CAS is the first step in getting the visa, which I think would normally be a tier 4 visa for students from outside the EU. So yes, if that's what you mean it should come from the university. It is much more complex to get a visa to work in the U.K.

i hope that helps
