Secondments as ITN

Dear all,

 

I am an ITN ESR (H2020, INSPIREMED Consortium). I have a simple question that more experienced members maybe able to help with.

I would like to know if secondments within ITN are to be done only in the universities/institutes included in the consortium. Is there a way that someone can do a secondment for example, in US or Scandinavia?

Hi Dimitri,

You can suggest new associated partner (AP) for the secondment only, and it can be any public/private institution or company. Once you have signed by them 2 documents - "the AP Letter of Intent" and "Associated Partner Description", this partnership needs to be approved formally by the EC. 

I am also ITN ESR and I will be doing a secondment at a university which is not part of the consortium. However, I am afraid secondments can be only done within EU and European Economic Area (Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), but better to double check with your project coordinator.
