Volunteer needed to organize small meetup at ESOF satellite event in Manchester. 28-29 July 2016 Could any members who are going to attend the ESOF satellite event in Manchester please leave a comment here? We are thinking of organizing a small meetup there. Our member Arathi Kizhedath is coming, and so will be Brian Cahill, the Chair of the MCAA Executive Committee. As I am not sure I will be able to come myself, it would be great if one of our members could volunteer to organize this get together. This year’s theme is “Researcher and Society”, we will reflect on the mission of the researcher vis-à-vis society, his/her moral duty to share his/her knowledge with the general public, and to be ethical and transparent when presenting scientific data. Participation in our satellite event is free of charge. MSCA delegates can benefit from a discount rate for the main ESOF conference*. Last but not least you will have the opportunity to present your poster and socialize with other fellows during the gala dinner. You can watch a video of 2012 ESOF satellite event.
