Volunteers for the UK South West meeting appreciated

1 min read Jun 24, 2016

Dear Fellows,

many thanks for the eager participation in the survey to the UK South West Meeting and the kind responses. We attracted a high number of members and look forward to a great get-together this autumn. And since the majority of the participants is from Bristol we will make the mobility as smooth as possible and organize the meeting right here, in the city of Captain Blackbeard.

To ensure a high level of the event I am asking you to volunteer your time and expertise. The help will be much appreciated to secure a good venue at the campus of Bristol Uni or another location that will be convenient for people travelling from other cities. Also your input on the discussion topics important for the MCAA and this event will be highly appreciated.

Awaiting your responses and see you soon in Bristol!

Hi  Yaroslav,

Thanks for all the effords. The MSCA PROVISION ITN project has a few researchers working for the University of Bristol and we would be able to provide assistance. Im pretty sure more will soon volunteer from other projects as well.

Hello,

I  started as a MSC postdoc research fellow (IF) at Bristol Uni 2 months ago. registered 2 weeks ago with the actions of the Marie Curie alumini association. I  am not familiar with the events organised by the association, yet am very keen on providing assistance with organisation. I would just need to be briefed on events and needs. You can count me among the volunteers.
