by simon.robinson

This annual event takes place in Lindau, Germany.

The 2018 event will be held on 24-29 June 2018, and is dedicated to physiology/medicine http://www.lindau-nobel.org/meeting/

About 30 Nobel Laureates and 600 international young scientists are expected to take part.

As in previous years, the European Commission, as an academic partner, has the opportunity to nominate a limited number of Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellows to participate in this meeting.

The European Commission has its own application process for Marie Skłodowska-Curie participants, which closes on 17 October 2017.

The funded fellow’s application should consist of completing some basic information by return e-mail, a motivational text of not more than 250 words, a letter or letters of recommendation, and the fellow’s  current CV. All parts of the application need to be sent by e-mail by Tuesday 17 October 2017, 17:00 CET to EAC-MSCA-LINDAU@ec.europa.eu

Please contact Liz Vesterlund at EAC-MSCA-LINDAU@ec.europa.eu for more information and for application documents.

The European Commission will make recommendations to the Lindau Committee in the first week of November. Candidates who are supported by the European Commission are asked in the second stage to complete and validate some further formalities by 30 November 2017, and final selection decisions are taken by the beginning of March 2018, allowing sufficient time for travel arrangements to be made.
