The Peer Exchange Platform (PEP-CV) is a resource for the research and innovation community to collaboratively create narrative-style CVs. PEP-CV was developed by a partnership between the MCAA, like-minded associations, funding agencies and researchers.
The goal of PEP-CV is to become a platform for everyone active in the research and innovation sector to engage in simple peer mentoring exchanges around the diverse range of experiences, achievements, and career paths found in narrative-style CVs that foster a holistic view of researchers and their contributions.

Depending on where you are on your narrative CV journey, you can join as a mentor or a mentee!
Becoming a PEP-CV Mentor: If you have experience discussing a broad range of achievements and career steps in the context of evaluation (e.g. narrative-style CVs, hiring or promotion processes, etc.), and are willing to share your experiences with other members of the community, you should sign up as a PEP-CV mentor!
Being a mentor will not only enrich your pool of experiences, but also enhance your profile as a mentor by evidencing your contributions to the development of the research community. In addition, you will support innovation in research assessment, eventually improving research culture. And if that wasn’t enough, the PEP-CV platform may also serve as an opportunity for networking and peer-to-peer collaboration.
Becoming a PEP-CV Mentee: If you are looking for support, guidance, and perspective in how to get started in presenting your experiences and achievements in an evaluation context (e.g. narrative-style CV, hiring or promotion processes, etc.), you should sign up as a PEP-CV mentee!
Being a mentee will provide you the support you require in communicating your broad range of experiences and achievements, and help you to evidence your contributions to the diverse sectors. In addition, as a mentee at a global platform, it will give you an opportunity to expand your national and international network and broaden your experiences around what is recognised in research and innovation.
Our values and principles:
At PEP-CV, we support the principles of international movements in advancing research evaluation and fostering an inclusive research culture, such as DORA and CoARA. In addition, the platform will provide opportunities to people across geographical boundaries and aims to contribute to an increased equity and diversity of people valorised in the international research and innovation sector.
