Science Diplomacy Workshop
Join us for a Science Diplomacy workshop on Nov 14, 6–8 p.m. CET, online or at the University Medical Center in Amsterdam! The workshop explores how Science Diplomacy and Science Policy intersect and shape researchers’ everyday work and career development.
The two-hour workshop includes:

🗣️ Roundtable discussions
💼 Learning from experiences shared by experts, Radenka Krsmanović Whiffen and Annelies Van de Ven.

1st MCAA Policy Forum 2025: Impact of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) — Driving knowledge, innovation and EU competitiveness
We are pleased to invite you to join the 1st MCAA Policy Forum on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the European Parliament. In this event, the MCAA will publish a report on “Impact of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – driving knowledge, innovation and EU competitiveness”. The event will take place under the patronage of MEP Christian Ehler, who will provide a keynote address during the event.

The PhD Career Day: Non-Academic Career
You would like to change your career and you do not know how?
The Bridging Science and Business Working Group (BSB WG) is pleased to co-organise the PhD Career Day together with the MCAA Spain–Portugal Chapter, ACCIÓ, and RMIT Europe’s REDI Program.
This free one-day event is designed for recent PhD graduates and current PhD candidates who are looking to explore career opportunities, gain insights into professional paths inside and outside academia, and connect with a vibrant international community. Attendees will grasp the ideas and success stories from former PhDs who discovered that there is another life outside the academia. You will hear career stories from PhD alumni, Start-ups, entrepreneurs, project managers and discover support programs, and build networks that can help shape their next steps.
In case of high demand, priority will be given to MSCA fellows in their third year, who are especially encouraged to attend.

Grant Writing and Networking Event: From Ideas to Impact - MCAA Italy Chapter Meeting
Join us for a professional development event focused on grant writing and networking in the historic Palazzo Bo, Padova on 18th November 2025, at 10am. Connecting Minds Across Continents: MCAA North America Meeting 2025
The in-person meeting will introduce the Marie Curie Alumni Association Chapters in the United States of America and Canada and connect its members, highlight EU MSCA and ERC opportunities for early-career scholars in Chicago, and promote ongoing scientific collaboration between Europe and North America.
