The MCAA welcomes new Chapter and Working Group Chairs

The results of the recent elections for selected Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) Chapters and Working Groups are in!

We are pleased to announce the results of the Chair elections for selected Chapters and Working Groups held in July-August 2024. Chairs were selected for 18 Chapters and four Working Groups for a two-year mandate.

Chapters and Working Groups are the main pillars of the MCAA, providing members with a supportive community environment that fosters networking, professional development, and policy influence.

The new and re-elected Chairs, whose mandate starts on 1 September 2024 and ends on 31 August 2026, are set to drive their respective Chapters and Working Groups forward, enhancing relationships with their members and the visibility of their activities.

In addition to bringing their experience and expertise to their roles, the newly elected and re-elected Chairs are committed to boosting member engagement. Over the next two years, they will oversee their Chapter or Working Group’s budget, develop and implement activities tailored to the needs and interests of its members, and maintain continuous communication with the Board and Operational Team to ensure alignment with the overall objectives of the MCAA.
