On 11 February, we celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. There is one woman researcher who changed the lives of thousands of us, Marie Skłodowska-Curie. The grant scheme celebrating her legacy allows all of us to become part of a worldwide scientific family: the MCAA.

It is therefore my pleasure to share the first issue of our updated newsletter format with you. Compared with the previous years, it will be shorter, but published more often and, we hope, with even more relevant and timely content. I hope it becomes a platform for exchange, inspiration, and dialogue, and we warmly encourage you to explore it, respond to it, and help us shape what comes next. Submit your contribution, too.
