SHORT POETRY CONTEST 2023 MCAA Spain-Portugal Chapter "POETRY FOR PEACE".
Do you want to express your creativity through a short poem? Here comes your chance! The Spain-Portugal Chapter of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) opens the 2023 edition to all those individuals residing in Europe who wish to express their personal vision on the theme "Poetry for Peace" through short poems.
What sort of poem can I write?
Your poem should be a maximum of 40 lines length and can be in any poetry style you like and doesn’t have to rhyme. How about trying one of these poem types:
- limerick
- haiku
- acrostic poem
- rap
- sonnet (e.g. ABBA ABBA CDC DCD)
There is no fee for entering the contest. The prize for the winner will be a voucher of 100€ for the “BOODLIFE” online store https://www.boodlife.com/. In addition, 2 vouchers of 30€ for “BOODLIFE” https://www.boodlife.com/ will be raffled among all participants. The awards will be made public during the month of August.

Even if not mandatory, a recorded audio/video of the poems would be more than welcome (you can post on Youtube/Tiktok and send the link (Subject: Poetry for Peace) to spain-portugal.chapter@mariecuriealumni.eu)
CONCURSO DE POESIA CORTA 2023 MCAA Spain-Portugal Chapter “POESÍA POR LA PAZ”
¿Quieres expresar tu creatividad a través de una poesía corta? ¡Aquí se presenta tu oportunidad! Desde la Sección España-Portugal de la Asociación de Alumni Marie Curie (MCAA) se abre la edición 2023 del concurso de poesía corta a todas aquellas personas que deseen expresar su visión personal sobre el tema “Poesía por la Paz” a través de la poesía.
¿Qué clase de poema puedo escribir?
La extensión de los poemas será de 40 versos o menos, y puede ser de cualquier estilo poético que te guste:
- limerick
- haiku
- poema acróstico
- rap
- soneto (por ej., ABBA ABBA CDC DCD)
La participación en el concurso es gratuita. El premio al poema ganador será un vale de 100€ para gastar en la web de “BOODLIFE” https://www.boodlife.com/. Además, entre todos los participantes se sortearán 2 vales de 30€ para gastar en la web de “BOODLIFE” https://www.boodlife.com/. Los premios se harán públicos durante el mes de Agosto. La fecha límite de entrega será el 10 de Septiembre de 2023.
