Cultural Heritage and Innovation

1 min read Mar 18, 2018
Tuesday, 20th of March in Brussels, EC is organizing the Conference "Innovation and Cultural Heritage". High level Conference to see where the Cultural Heritage Research stands now in the sense of funding possibilities and what is "trendy" now in this field which EC supports. We have increasing number of unemployed Cultural Heritage experts with Humanities degrees and this is an opportunity to understand how to switch our careers in a better compatible way what European Commission is now supporting. Join us! https://ec.europa.eu/info/events/innovation-and-cultural-heritage-2018-mar-20_en

Too bad this has been posted too late. Would have been interested to participate. My project is actually about combining cultural heritage and innivation. Alas...

In the EC website: "Registration is now closed because all places have been booked."

However, it looks as if they will stream the event? [WATCH LIVE AT 08:30 (CET)]???

True! I tried to register about 2 weeks ago and it was full already! Maybe if someone in this group could participate, they could make a brief report for us? ^_^

Dear all,

I was selected to participateand would be very glad to share with you in a written form what were the conclusions. Also, this is a good platform to talk about the unemployability in the Cultural Heritage Sector and other pathways we are facing. Btw, some of you already know, but I am the task force leader for the Social Science and Humanities Policy WG and will be more than happy to colect more information about our previous and current Fellows in the SSH as I am very much engaged in the writing of Policy papers about SSH.

Please do contact me: nina.diaz.fernandez@gmail.com

Thank you!

Kind regards, Nina
