Dear members, Maybe you can help me with this simple question regarding Marie Curie actions funding. Are Marie Curie COFUND funded regional personal actions (such as Andalucia Talent Hub and others in Spain) subject to indirect cost from the host instituitions? I have one and the host institution is taken all research related funding, besides salary and travel expenses, for indirect cost. Grateful if anyone could help or tell me where to address this question.

Hi,

My experience is with a COFUND from Generalitat de Catalunya, with an outgoing and a return phase. The host institution of the outgoing phase did not take any money from the fellowship, as the travelling and "salary" (actually, a stipend, no taxes) were paid directly to my bank account from the Generalitat agency, and there were no research expenses. In the return phase, the agency paid the return host institution and it managed my salary (this time, a real salary, with taxes), but the travelling expenses (from the outgoing country back to Spain) were paid directly to my bank account. There was no money for research neither in this phase.

So, unless the host insitution in the return phase took indirect costs from my salary (I don't think so, I was not aware of that), none of the hosts institutions charged any indirect cost on my fellowship.

But I don't think it is useful for your case, as you say something about research related funding, I guess each COFUND scheme has different rules.
