Election of a new German Chapter Chair

Dear German Chapter Members,

It is my pleasure to announce that after discussions between the four people, who expressed interest in becoming the Chair of the MCAA German Chapter, it was decided that  Marina Rantanen Modéer will be the new Chair. Marina is an Early Stage Researcher at the TU Dortmund as part of the OCPS ITN. She is an activist for promoting better conditions for young researchers in the EU. Marina is a science communicator and blogger and has a deep interest in the diversity of approaches in European education and research. A group of over ten chapter members has volunteered to support Marina as a board over the coming years. I am very confident that the MCAA German Chapter will be in good hands and that the new board will introduce a diversity of new activities and be very creative.

Finally, I offer Marina my personal congratulations and continuing support.
