Dear colleagues and friends,

My name is Koldo Trápaga Monchet and I am currently based on Madrid. I am writing you on behalf of the Bridging Science and Business Chapter with the purpose of arranging an informal meeting on October 17th afternoon with the meetings of the Spain/Portugal chapter that are based on Madrid. The aim of this meeting is to explore future opportunities of cooperation between both groups.

As you might know in the last decades the link between academic research and business has turned out rather important. On October 17thYaroslav Verkh and I are attending on the behalf of BSB chapter to the workshop “EURAXIND Employer workshop” that will take place on Madrid that day during the morning. Taking advantage of this event, the BSB has decided to arrange a informal meeting with the purposes of:

1) To gain information from your chapter: what do you expect for us? How can we be useful?

2) To explore the possibility of organizing a nice activity in 2017-2018 with BSB as a secondary organizer.

3) To talk about possible cooperation in 2018/2019 and the EU-startups summit in Barcelona.

As we don’t know how many people might be interested in attending, we are trying to reserve a venue at University King Juan Carlos close to Arguelles. We will provide more details about the location. Please, bear in mind the fact that the meeting is gonna be informal despite it is going to take place in “an academic venue”.

If you are interested in attending, please write me to: koldo.trapaga@urjc.es. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Koldo Trápaga
