Heidelberg Future Leaders in Sciences and Humanities Forum

On October 7-8, 2025, Heidelberg University will launch the first Heidelberg Future Leaders in Sciences and Humanities Forum for excellent early career researchers within 4 years after completing the PhD. The forum aims to identify talented researchers from all over the world at an early stage, support their scientific projects, and integrate them into the research landscape of Heidelberg University.

Promising candidates will be selected from among the participants and their application to postdoctoral and group leader funding programs (Emmy Noether Programm, ERC Starting Grant and comparable programs) will be supported by the Heidelberg Research Service.

Timeline:
Application Phase: April 1 – May 31, 2025
Feedback until: End of June 2025
Digital Kick-Off: July 2025
Symposium: October 7 – 8, 2025
