Dear MCAA Colleagues,

I hope you all enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating holiday season!

I am delighted to share some important updates and exciting opportunities for this month.

As you may know, the next Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) Annual Conference and General Assembly will take place in Krakow, Poland, from March 21-22, 2025. This flagship event brings together hundreds of participants from around the world, spanning diverse fields of research, science policy, and industry, to engage in insightful discussions on topics relevant to the research and innovation sector.

MCAA Annual Meeting in Poland:

- Travel Grants: Applications for travel grants to attend the annual meeting in Poland are now open. You can access the application portal through your individual MCAA account.

Abstract Submission:
- The MCAA invites and encourages its members to present their research, project objectives and ideas, or MSCA experiences.

- Deadline: The deadline for submitting abstracts for posters or talks (which can be presented online) is January 27th.

MCAA Awards 2024:
- We are now accepting nominations for the following prestigious MCAA awards:

  - MCAA Social Impact Award
  - MCAA Outstanding Contributor Award

Additionally, please note that registration for the General Assembly (GA), which will take place on March 22nd from 14:15 to 17:30, needs to be done separately. The GA is only open to MCAA members. You can register for the GA here: https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/forms/general-assembly-2025
