MCA France Chapter Meeting - Toulouse, July 9th 2018

Hi everybody!

We will have a Chapter Meeting in Toulouse on July 9th, the kickoff day of ESOF (thus, a great opportunity to attend this event too :) https://www.esof.eu/en/).

We will soon post a text to be used to apply for a micro-grant to cover travel/accommodation expenses.

Hi everyone,

 

If you want to attend our meeting (July 9) AND ESOF (July 9 – 14) in Toulouse, you can apply for a Micro Travel Grant (https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/micro-grants).

For your grant application, you can use or adapt the following text to explain the relevance of the event compared with your background, and its added-value for your career development (max 100 words):

“Dear board,

As a member of the France chapter, I would like to benefit a Micro Travel Grant to attend both ESOF (July 9 – 14) and the France Chapter meeting (July 9) in Toulouse.

At ESOF, I will be able to extend my knowledge in the science policy. It will also be an opportunity to enlarge my scientific and political network which is a requirement to secure a position in France.

Attending to the France Chapter meeting will allow me to extend my network in France, gain knowledge about MCAA and the activities proposed by the Chapter.

Best regards,”

 

In the second section "Please state the actions, if any, that you will take when you return, to disseminate the activities carried out during the event (max 80 words):

 

Whether you plan to tweet, write a report for your University or anything else, you want to disseminate the activity and acknowledge/advertise MCAA. Be as specific as you can and aware that you will have to do what you offer to do.

 

Note that we do not guarantee you will obtain a grant.
