Networking between MCAA and Young Academies Globally
Networking is one of the ways to SUCESS. Apart from having my academic responsibilities (as faculty and editorial, http://iacs.res.in/faculty-profile.html?id=123), I am also an active member of the Indian National Young Academy of Sciences (INYAS) and the National Academy of Science India (NASI). Most of the countries have their Young Academies. I will put my efforts to bring them along with Global Young Academy on the MCAA platform so to get more coordinated networking around the Globe.
During my tenure as a Chair of the Indin Chapter from May 2017 to July 2021, I have raised the Indian Chapter from 28 members to the fifth largest of MCAA. That could have been possible because of networking. We as the Indian chapter, have very strong relations with all the EU Delegations in India, EURAXESS India, Indian Academies, and Institutes. A few of our chapter members wrote a joint successful project for funding as well.
